Sumanth Kumar
Sumanth Kumar is an industry veteran with a B.E. in Electronics and Communications from RVCE, Bangalore, from the 1975–1980 batch. With about 45 years of experience in power electronics, he remains actively engaged in the industry, bringing deep technical and practical insight to every project.
He currently serves as Director of PNS Systems Pvt. Ltd., a company focused on delivering power solutions including UPS systems, servo controlled voltage stabilizers, lift UPS/inverter systems, battery energy storage systems, rooftop solar power plants, and related technologies. Sumanth is also the immediate past president of UMDA (UPS Manufacturers and Dealers Association), where he has contributed to addressing industry-wide challenges such as taxation and compliance, collaboration, technology adoption, and import versus local manufacturing issues.
Beyond his professional commitments, he is an active Rotarian and has served as President of the Rotary JP Nagar Club in Bangalore, reflecting his long-standing engagement with community service and leadership.
Suraj Kumar S
Suraj Kumar S is a second-generation entrepreneur and has been actively leading initiatives at PNS Systems since early 2017. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from DSCE, Bangalore (2010) and a PGCBM (MBA equivalent) from XLRI, Jamshedpur (2013–2014), combining strong technical and management foundations.
Before joining the family business, Suraj gained approximately six years of experience in the IT sector between 2010 and 2016, bringing structured, technology-driven thinking into the power and solar domain. At PNS Systems, he has played a key role in acquiring and delivering meaningful UPS and solar solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, including leading organisations in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aeronautical, IT, space research, 3D printing and related high-technology sectors.
